Californian poppy

The wildflower seeds that dropped from last year’s plants are starting to flourish now, although there’s a lot of cornflowers and poppies so it doesn’t look as varied as last year. We’ve tried to sprinkle more seeds this year but I’m not sure if they’ll take very well.

Breakfast pancakes out this morning before doing the supermarket shop. Then time in the garden pottering around for the rest of the day. This is the nicest weather for the long weekend so it was good to make the most of it.
