Celebrating the Spring Bank Holiday

So it must be the Oaks annual Spring Fair up on the Forest. We got there at midday and missed the Black Border Morris performing. But I caught up with them in the church hall where they went to grab a cup of tea and some cake. Also extras of two more performers and a view of the classic cars up on the hill.

The weather was beautiful. Blue sky and fluffy cumulus clouds. We really admired Ray Hatfield's singing and playing of an impressive range of 70s and 80s numbers.

The rain started just as we got up to leave.
