Wild Lawn…

… We have let it grow wild for the last couple of years in the Spring and Summer, with some paths cut through. (The jackdaws patrol the paths like armed sentries, it’s quite funny to watch them avoid the long grass).
Himself doesn’t mind the ‘big mow’ at the end of the season, but I wouldn’t choose to do it. (I’m probably just lazy). The lawn seems to enjoy growing mainly white saxifrage when left to its own devices, with the odd meadow buttercups haphazardly thrown in and, some speedwell loafs around as if looking for somewhere low rise (and effortless) to park itself.
Something wild and pink would be nice… Maybe if we wait long enough?
