Jerez de La Frontera…

… where we had a wonderful tour of this ‘lively opulent town that grew rich on the wine trade. Its equestrian and flamenco traditions have long since spread beyond its borders.’ This is just one of the many beautiful courtyards I chose to focus on today.

We’d tasted three different wines before 10am, specialities of the Osborne wine cellar in El Puerto de Santa Maria, ‘wine playing a key role in Andalusian culture, the exceptional climatic conditions making it possible to produce wines and exceptional sherry.’

Back on board for lunch then out again for a walking tour of Cadiz and the beautiful cathedral and medieval quarter. Again, excellent.

Gala dinner night, and we dined to excess! Hence this being a day after journal entry…
