Friday Night Is Race Night

Coffee with Richard to start the day, this mornings coffee was in his caravan parked on the road outside his house. He is in the process of preparing it for a long weekend at Pegasus Bridge for the D Day 80 commemorations, made a change and was quite enjoyable.

A quick visit to the supermarket, bit depressing, £50 doesn’t even fill a ‘forever’ bag these days.

The early evening was Carrick Roads Racing, eight gigs met for some friendly racing followed by rafting up and a quick beer. We managed a 6th, 7th and 8th place but enjoyed it immensely, including the row out and return.
