Well done in the sun!

Didn't go shopping today. Did watch the Wimbledon men's final - what an exciting match it was! And well done to Andy Murray - at last!

Meanwhile, as I sweated it out from the sofa with Andy (so to speak), Mr PP cycled with his brother-in-law from Weston-super-Mare to Burnham-on-Sea - a 28-mile round trip. In all this heat! And it's his first time on a bike for years. He's aching all over and as red as a beetroot, but well pleased with himself. And I'm very proud of him.

I did some sitting and reading in the garden and am somewhat redder than before. The photo is of a rose that Mr PP's aunt grew from a cutting. It came from a self-set rose from our garden.
