Thanking for the poet

This is a back-blip. Yesterday S and I used the car so that we could get back to Snells Beach. We could have used the bus in the morning but we were attending the launch of Michael's poetry collection. That finished well after even the second bus had left.

Michael  is one of the Isthmus Poets collective, to which S also belongs. Michael Giacon is a poet, who has recently retired from an academic position at AUT. 

When the opening 'slide show 'faltered' (No sound) Michael stepped up and sang the songs. Then came the reading, which included him singing the last three poems.

It was a grand performance by a very talented man.
