An unusual formation

Today was good. The amount of work was enough to keep me busy all day without extra demands that I find difficult to ignore. Even more positive was the warm sunny afternoon, which not only attracted me to Western Springs for a walk, but persisted until I was on the last part of the drive home when once more the heavens opened over Auckland/Tamaki Makarau.

Apparently Auckland has had 91% of the average rainfall for the city in less than five months. The reality is that some areas of the city will have had even more than that.
