Tiny but promising

Seems only a few weeks since there was all the beautiful blossom. The bees have done their job, and now hundreds of little apples are growing. They already look red and delicious, though less than an inch across.
Somehow we’ve had really lovely weather the last few days - it’s rained ( in a nice, kind, watering the garden way) at night - and been sunny on and off in the daytime.
Oxfam in the afternoon, and I only bought myself one book:) A Val McDermid featuring her Edinburgh detective Karen Pirie. Anyone else like those?
