Thornton Abbey

Late blip as no phone signal!

This splendid gatehouse is all that remains of a former abbey apart from a few piles of stone. Impossible to get in to see it close-up (and I tried many ways!) as it's 'work in progress' for English Heritage!
Next, on to Hull and a view of the Humber Bridge (extra) before driving over it for our planned overnight stop at the end of Spurn Point. Fascinating watching progress of the incoming tide; we stayed there overnight. (Extra)
