Springwatch

I watched Monday’s Springwatch on TV last night, a good way of relaxing after a long drive. That encouraged me to have a go at my own Springwatch after breakfast this morning, to see if I could capture an image of one of the adult blue tits flying into or out of the box. They are feeding young now. I quickly got this result which, although the bird isn’t sharply focussed (they fly in and out of the box at speed) I am pleased with. How successful the feeding is I have no idea - I am not noticing those juicy green caterpillars they seem to like, I suspect the wet winter and spring hasn’t helped.

Extra - this could have been my abstract blip, but I prefer the bird. It’s a section of the Brian Bevan Commemoration Wall at the Warrington Wolves RL stadium. Their most successful player. Blue and Yellow are the colours of the team. Supporters have individual bricks engraved.
