Hauling Hereford Heifers.....

A morning of checking cattle ,feeding cattle and starting to dismantle the calf creep in a shed ready to muck out . The next job will be to start building up the shearing shed. How is it that time again already ?
After lunch went with wee brother to meet Brian from Border Livestock at a nearby farm to pick another batch of bulling heifers.
We chose 10 ,shook on a price and headed home.
Hitched up the trailer and headed back to start hauling them home. The first load was fine,the second load the heavens opened.
This weather is getting beyond a joke. The fields are all waterlogged and there is more water going down the burns than there was during the winter....
