Lena No. 1

A lovely morning with sunny spells.  A cloudy afternoon, then sunny tonight.  Warm and calm all day.

Up early, headed to the peat hill to raise peats.  Met mam for lunch at Da Haaf, Scalloway.  Popped by the garden centre, and an afternoon potting bedding plants.  Watched some football this evening, then popped down to mam's.  Walkies, then early to bed.  Sunset at 2213, after my bedtime! 

Jonny popped by to say niece Lena was playing football in the park this evening, so I headed down.  Lena plays of Ness United (in red) under 14s in the league. They were playing against TSB (Trondra, Scalloway, Burra) on their turf.  Lena plays in goals, she didn't have much to do tonight, and they won 5-1. Unfortunately I didn't get any clear shots of the saves, but here's Lena booting the ball back up the pitch.  So many amazing comments about how good Lena is at football.  Taken at Fraser Park, Scalloway.
