Mothers’ Day bike ride!

We had a lovely service at church this morning, celebrating American Mothers Day. Much of the service was led by the children, and was very nicely done. We stayed for Bible study as usual, then in the afternoon, got out to enjoy the sunshine, cycling on the Little Miami trail. I managed 15 miles today, my best so far this year. Last year we spent a wonderful long Mothers Day weekend with our daughter Jen at Gorges State Park in North Carolina, and she had wanted to do a similar thing this year, but she and Jason are away with friends in New Orleans this weekend, so instead we are meeting up with her next Sunday in Jekyll Island, southern Georgia for a week.
Roger kindly prepared dinner for us this evening.
