Bits 'n pieces

Was a really bitty day. I woke up energised and swam. During that. I remembered I should book the Lounge next week for my layover in T5. Booked and then realised I'd misspelt my email address (no specs!). But of a panic trying to work out how to get it fixed. Eventually an X DM got it sorted in 5 mins. 

Then I did some desultory gardening. It wasn't warm, but it wasn't raining. Attempted a fix on the dripping guttering. More plants are planted. I'll get rest done at weekend. 

And an update on the bin saga: the landfill and food were emptied but the green remains on the drive. 

Helped sort out a finance issue for Apex and then 
lunchtime was spent wrangling Amazon for #2 son, flags for Benji's bar for the Euros. 5 mins he said it would take. It took an hour with much gnashing of teeth. 

Bad news about a grant applications and then a good meeting about another application followed by nearly 2 hours in Apex meetings.

Back to the garden for some recovery before dinner, Mediterranean chicken, a couple of work phone calls and a bit more Rebus.

J arrived, slightly late, to pick up the package for KL and shared some unexpected news about #2 soon. He, of course, thought I knew. Ah well, time will tell. 

Went to bed with my nerves jangling after such day dealing with so many different things, all at the same time! 

Oh and there was a guilty Trump.
