It makes a change from garden gnomes!

While my wife went shopping in east Belfast I went walking and came across this scene on Bloomfield Road.  Houses in this part of the road probably date from the early 1900s.  I notice that the sash window looked like the original one.  Also I like the red Belfast brick, most urban properties are built with this brick with its variation in colour.  It reminds me of the house I grew up in as a child.  As for the ornamentation, I will let you decide on that!
