Someone has been knitting

in my street too! I’ve been so struck with the beautiful postbox toppers that various blippers have shown in different areas. Yet I’ve never actually seen one.  But now we have a rainbow lamppost in my street.  So pleased to see it. 
The decorator was here for the last time in this phase. I’m going to need a plasterer, an electrician and a carpenter before my living room is ready to paint. I spent much of the morning writing to various friends and family - except of course it’s on WhatsApp or email these days, so replies are often instant. I arranged to go down to Cornwall in August for a few days to stay with my dear cousin who has dementia, so his partner has a break. That’s a win for all of us. I can take him out in the car to lovely spots for little walks, aided with a blue badge which makes parking so much easier. She chose the days I will be there, as it means she can get involved in a festival in another part of Cornwall, and stay with a friend.
