Cumbria Here I Come

Loweswater

Another busy day at work today clocking up over 160 miles!! After work took Bonnie to Lowswater and not Crummock Water as mentioned in yesterday's journal. We had a nice amble and Bonnie of course was in the water. Bonnie as most of you know is 15 years and is obviously very slow and just plods.... but as soon as she smells water she speeds up and off she goes as fast as her little legs can carry her and makes a bee line for the water :) She's also off her food and for the first time in years I've had to throw uneaten food away. Hope its just the heat!

Am feeling a bit frustrated though as late home and so tired and not had time to finish cutting grass or do any pruning and its green collection day tomorrow. Bought some cheapish long handled shears from a well known garden centre as I was passing by earlier and quickly tried them at home and they are useless so they can go back tomorrow! Got my neighbour to try them as well in case it was me... and she said they were useless as well :)

Too tired even to go and watch the sunset from the marsh :) From what I saw in the garden through the trees it was a good one!
