Lili

Today’s time for a visit to Meols and a chance to spend some time with Lili. It’s just about warm enough for lunch in the garden, though temperatures are certainly not what you’d expect for June 1st. Still, the sun is strong enough to warrant a hat for Lili, which she wears with style, posing beautifully. 

Despite the photos, she’s really not in the mood for smiling today.  We think her gums are bothering her judging by the amount of dribbling and by her voracious chewing of her giraffe teething toy! 

There’s a compulsory visit to Churn and Chill - my chosen flavours today are fig leaf and honey with lime and pistachio cheesecake! Absolutely delicious! It’s far too cold to sit on the prom to enjoy our ice cream, but in the far distance the sand yacht racers seem to be enjoying the keen winds far more than we are! 

Of course, it’s a Lili main today, fashionably sporting the furry coat and sun hat combination so suited to our ‘summer’ weather! And there’s a shot with daddy as an extra. 

Edit: having decided that a black background was too harsh, I’ve changed this by adding a background texture in Photoshop which I think looks better. However, I must admit to doing this rather quickly as we’re off to Anglesey, so the masking certainly isn’t perfect!
