History in the making

This shot was taken just before the start of the Wimbledon Final (if you look carefully you can see Murray and Dukoovic walking on to Centre court). There were at least 5 times as many people in Millenium Square than there were for the semis on Friday, and the atmosphere was electric. It was also hot. Very hot. I took to standing in the fountains whilst watching the match, which was a great way to keep cool. I watched the first set here, and then went home to prepare a bbq for dinner, and to watch the rest of the match. When Murray won you could hear the whole street erupt in victory whooping. What a fantastic day.
