Holding On

According to Mr Internet it’s called a Silver Y moth.

I’m sure I will be corrected if wrong :-)

Anyway, there it was, sat on the viola and still there when I’d fetched the camera. It’s cropped in fairly well to enhance the detail. It’s not bright and in your face like some of course but what caught my eye was the incredibly fast wing movements. I thought at first it was a hummingbird hawk moth and it was not until I’d processed the photo I could identify it.

It’s glorious weather here today, and therefore that means the town and promenade is absolutely hoachin as husband described it on return from the morning dog walk.

So we’ve started the online training he has to get through for his new job! It’s recommended to complete on the PC, rather than a phone or tablet, so he’s had a crash course today on using my computer with the big screen in the study. After many years of alternating between windows, android, Mac OS, we both have very similar devices now, so the transition for him is not too difficult.
