Here be dragons

A very pleasant evening out at the pizza place for Finola's birthday. 10 of us gathered in attractive surroundings, ate large pizzas and did a lot of talking - Himself and I are hoarse from all the chat.
I've had a much needed lowkey day and have pottered from garden bench to garden bench, admiring all the damsel flies and dragon flies freshly emerged and busy! I was also excited to see two gannets overhead at one point.
It's been warm and sunny and we had a swim. Kitchen Cove was heaving with families, everyone engrossed in the water or the sand or the pebbles - simple pleasures are the best.
The clouds are coming in now and the weather is changing but the plants could actually do with a bit of rain!!
