A bit of a mouthful
This is a gardening weekend. Apart from mowing the lawn and tying a few things up I’ve left the front and back garden to their own devices this year, and they are still looking OK. A bit of weeding is needed though.
The bigger job is the border to the drive at the front. Having taken the lavender out it needs widening - which means cutting into the lawn - and the soil improving. One consequence is that I kept coming across leatherjackets in the soil under the grass. My feathered friends have had an unexpected feast. All done now, I’ll let it all lie and then plant it up in a few weeks time.
