Best of the day (Day 3310)

The weather for my wander out with Sigyn this morning turned out to be the best of the day, and was about the only sunshine we had.
The morning trip to the horses with my beautiful wife was mostly dry, but there was a hint of drizzle in the air. It seems that George's eye is improving, but it isn't right yet. All the horses got a day off today.
After lunch I took Sigyn a wander round the reservoir above Stromness. It was fairly windy, but Sigyn enjoyed the opportunity to roam across open moorland. It started to drizzle as we headed back to Mum's. HV and I waited til later in the afternoon and a gap in the drizzle before another visit to the horses to put out some more hay.
