Aberfoyle

two lovely walks near Aberfoyle today. The first we did the Doon round past the faerie tree and the derelict church and house in the collage. I loved the grave stone honouring John McBeth, loved the name and the description of him. Our second walk after lunch was round Loch Spling. Both were longer than the map said we walked over 7 miles and the first walk was strenuous which we hadn't seen in the description or we wouldn't have walked it but then we would have missed the fairy tree house.
