Slip transfer

After a nothingy morning (grass cutting etc), I went off to pottery as usual. Few more people there today (8 in total which is a full class) which gave it a nice buzz - previously there’s been only 2 or 3 of us. I used my knowledge from the course yesterday to try some slip transfer printing today on one of the plant pot holders I’d made the other week. Pretty pleased with the result but we’ll see when it’s been fired etc. I quite like the distressed look of how it’s turned out but I expect it’s possible to do it more neatly with a bit more practise and care.
