Last day in Portugal

And we met up with a dear colleague of mine who has relocated to Cascais just outside Lisbon when he retired. He and I used to travel together to Niger where we worked on the same project.

I finally got to meet his lovely wife as we all had lunch together at their amazing house. They seem absolutely thrilled to be here and are enjoying life at its fullest. Apparently there are about a dozen of our former colleagues who have all chosen Portugal as a retirement home…
