Trees in Fairmilehead Park

Another lovely day. A surprise as the Meadows Festival is on. A short walk aro.und the park to get a shot of the trees in the park. The small chestnut trees in the foreground have lost all of their flowers. Back home for morning coffee. Then help with the grocery delivery.

After lunch, partner and I go down to the Meadows Festival. Lots of stalls, but less interesting bric a brac than in pre Covid times. Lot of food stalls. We did find the Cairn O'Mohr fruit wine stall. They were selling the excellent Shrubbery fruit wine, which is only made in small batches. It has been such a long time since we last had some that it would be a shame not to buy 2 bottles. Then it was to a café to get some coffee before heading to Morningside to get weekend groceries.

Evening spent catching up with Doctor Who and Red Eye programmes.
