Meconopsis Betonicifolia

I walked to Mass this morning and called in for Carole on my way there. We helped with teas and coffees and had a meeting about preparing for the First Communions next Sunday. Home briefly and then Carole and I cycled the back way to Dawyck Gardens (about 20 miles there and back).
I need to practice a lot more as we’re cycling the Hebridean Way (four of us) at the end of this month. We had to stop off en route for several reasons but luckily we were still in time for a late lunch (delicious) and we were rewarded with the sight of these wonderful poppies.
Last night on my own as Mr P is coming home tomorrow.
