Wild Iris

This is such a great time of year here in Laramie. Everything is flowering and the mosquitoes haven't arrived yet. I spent the night out at Mom's yesterday. I really wanted to see the iris blooming and I wasn't disappointed. They bloom in damp areas and are so pretty. Mom has a lot of wild Golden Banner peas growing too out in the meadow area. The iris and peas were all mixed together.
We also spent some time sitting in the backyard reading and listening to the frogs. They have an irrigation ditch in the back that is running and filling up the marsh. Plus there were birds galore.
