Just before the sun appeared

I slept long for once and the tiredness and aches had left me when I did wake. Woke to see splendid colours in the sky interrupted by layers of cloud. S joined me out on the gras towards the cliff edge, and I prefer this photo to the one of the sky alone.

As an extra I have added a photo of a white-faced heron, serendipitously immediately after the heron had caught some food.
