For Wildflower Week with many thanks to Miranda1008 for hosting faithfully every summer :)

Lovely friend E from church very kindly came round today to cut my grass at the back because its difficult for me to do at the moment.  She trimmed all the edges too.  It looks so neat now.  I usually keep a 'wild' patch all summer, but its disappeared in the mess of the grass...so this is nice to see tidy and so grateful to her :)

Anyway, I opened the back gate which I haven't done for ages, and found a whole bed of 'herb robert' growing down the back passageway.  It was getting rather tall and would have been difficult for me to walk through, so I pulled it up, but not before taking a few photos.

In the extra - the patch.  I wanted to take a shot the other way but it wouldn't have been as easy.  Had to bend over do to this anyway...

So, I've decided and today I accepted the alternative position with the police, for 6 months.  However, its one step forward and one step back as I now have to wait for my details to be presented to a management meeting later in the week, and then will find out next steps.  

Its never easy is it!

Today, I have been applying for more jobs in case this doesn't work out (if I don't then I could lose benefits)...

Apologies for lack of commenting as I've an online meeting tonight which is our 'Preacher Support Group' I am now part of (just hoping I can keep awake for it after another bad night) :)
