Sporting action
More amateur rugby for today’s mono Monday challenge. Many thanks to Pinkhairedlady for hosting this month.
This afternoon Sally and I went to Lisvane reservoir. Sally did really well by walking around the small “bird reserve” section - about a mile. We noticed a grebe who swam up to what we thought was its nest only for a coot to rush up and in no uncertain terms shoo the grebe away and repossess what we presumed was its nest. The first extra shows part of the exchange of views. The other extra is a different grebe who briefly got off her nest for a quick dip in the water and as she did we noticed the egg she had been incubating.
