Family in da Gairden

A couple of showers this morning, then again at teatime, and now late tonight.  Mostly sunny all day, windy too.

Up early, washing out, then headed to the peat hill.  Spent most of the day raising peats.  Headed to work in the shop this evening, turned out I wasn't on!  Back to the peat hill it was.  Walkies with Sammy before the showers, now feet up.

Back home for lunch, mam, Laura and niece Eve popped by for lunch too.  Eve arrived home from Glasgow this morning.  After lunch, they wanted a look around the garden, a fine day to sit out for a catchup.  Laura was quite jealous about my garden sheltered from the wind, making it a fine suntrap.  Saying that, poor Eve looks like she's got a new hairdo with the breeze lifting her hair.  The family gang in Hawthorn Cottage garden, Houl Road, Scalloway.
