Self-sown
These are from our garden, which turned into a jungle when I turned my back on it. The different types of kale are descended from promotional seeds that came from Woolworths a few years ago. Parsley just keeps growing and seeding, its origin forgotten. The tomatoes are from seedlings our bookkeeper gave us last year. I nearly plucked out the pumpkin in case it turned out to be an inedible hybrid. I’m glad I didn’t, because it is the tastiest pumpkin I have ever eaten. We also have a choko vine with thousands of chokoes on it.
