Today's the day ....................... for the Tale of the Robin, Blackbird and Siskin

There's usually lots of activity going on round the feeders with birds arriving or departing - and either going straight for their preferred food of choice or just hanging about, waiting for a few crumbs to drop from above.  There are patient birds who don't mind waiting and there are those who like to think they're in charge of food distribution.  I could sit and watch the little drams unfolding for ever!

For example, these three above could perhaps be saying, -

(Blackbird) "Lovely grub - but just not enough of it - I've got a load of beaks to fill"

(Robin) "You've had quite enough - I'm in charge here and I've got my eye on you"

(Siskin) "I'm sure it was here a minute ago - turn your head and someone's nicked your seed.  Bet it was that blackbird ....................!."
