Arkle
The forecast was for a reasonable day with cloud gradually rising to about hill top levels by afternoon so we decided to go up a Corbett and Graham east of Arkle. We cycled the first 4 kms and then left the bikes to go up Meall Horn first and then on to Sabhal Beag. The blip is Arkle on the cycle in and the extra Foinavon on the way up Meall Horn with Sea Pinks growing in the rocks. Sadly there were a couple of showers so views were restricted on the tops. However the flowers were lovely and really plentiful so that was great. When we got back to the bikes S’s front tyre was flat so we had to put in a new inner tube before a rapid return to the van.
Best on black.
