Under The Boardwalk . . . The Drifters

We have had a lovely day enjoying the winter sun and the sea at Mount Maunganui Beach.  Alot of others were walking or at cafes enjoying it also.  It was nice to spend a relaxed day with my sister inlaw and my oldest nephew.  She is my only sister in law now and I thought it would be a good idea to catch up while I can.  My nephew also thought it a good idea and he flew up from Christchurch.  We have traversed the family and caught up on the news.  This morning I was pleased to see my great neice going off to her student placement at a local primary school.  She has a bachelor of teacher degree and is doing one year of practical study before applying for a teaching job.  I thought she looked keen and dressed like she means business and the little pupils would adore her.
