Nine and holding.....

Went down to Coalie Park to join the WoL crew for a path tidying session, and the swan family were much in evidence  - in fact they hung around for the whole morning. Think they must be getting used to us......the boat crew were out too, but there was stuff from the recent high waters too hefty for them to shift down at the Victoria Bridge.

When I first arrived I noticed a man throwing what I assumed to be some food for them towards the swans. Got near enough to see him throwing in a second rainbow trout.....the swans turned up their beaks in disgust of course. What could he possibly have been thinking?
