A Summer Rose and Madeleine's well deserved award.

This golden orangey rose is a symbol for the fantastic warmth of Summer sunshine we are enjoying.
I could live with this for a long time very contentedly.
After delivering the papers, taking a few floral blips and chatting to a lady about wildflowers and bees, I did some washing and then went on a nice Stepping Out walk.
The long and short walking groups merged today, and walked through a pleasant village, Tottleworth, and then along the leafy White Path as it is locally known. Then afterwards, back at the People's Centre, there was a presentation for Madeleine, who received a certificate and beautfiul bouquet of flowers for ten years as a Stepping Out walk Leader.
She is a really kind lady.
