For 4
Up at 5.15 to get in by 9 - in fact earlier than I needed to do as I managed to catch an earlier train. We were looking at one particularly music cue in the mixing suite so that we can get on with delivering episode 2 at the end of the week. Then went into the office for the day. A few zooms but I also managed to read the new William BOyd novel, not out yet, called Gabriel Moon. It’s an extremely good read and I am sure will be a great success for him when it comes out.
In the afternoon Emily and I went over to Channel 4 for a meeting. I hadn’t been for a while and was surprised to see the big 4 has gone green. I imagine that’s for eco reasons but the pope we met weren’t entirely sure.
Ran for the train and ended up on the earlier one, standing until Woking mind, which got me home in time to go and see neighbour Rachel and discuss the damage deer do (recurrring theme in our lane). She also gave me branches of Philadelphus which, clearly, deer are not partial to. The scent filled the house this evening.
