Edinburgh

Today is mine and Angela's birthday. There is 5 years between us. We decided to have a day out in Edinburgh. I drove to Stirling and we got the train.
We had a walk on the royal mile and went in the Cathedral, another ceiling shot in the collage. We didn't think it was as nice as Glasgow. Edinburgh was really busy, lots of walking tours etc and so many people. 
On our way down to the Greyfriars Bobby Bar we stopped at the national Library of Scotland where there was a fabulous exhibition of early photos of Italy. See extra. 
We had a lovely lunch in the bar, I had pork and haggis sausage and mash. We went in the churchyard where the dog and his master are buried. Angela found another Outlander location off the royal mile and then walking back we decided to go on a bus tour. I wanted to see Leith, which was very nice. Had a quick view of Britannia and a really nice tour. 
We've had a great day, nice to spend our birthdays together for once.
