Common Spotted Orchid

Bit cloudy to start, and a couple of heavy showers. Much cooler than Monday. They stop just as I head off to a medical appointment. Covered some issue I have getting back in to cycling. After the session, I get in the taxi and the rain returns as I head home. I do head out for a very quick walk around the park before lunch.

After lunch fewer and lighter showers. Afternoon walk down to Braidburn Valley Park to see how the orchid are coming along. There are quite a few more Northern Marsh Orchids. However away from the damp area, a Common Spotted Orchid has appeared. Nice outside, we sit for a while in the sunshine, sheltered from the cool breeze.
