2024 Wednesday — Spider Web

Even the spiders like the addition of the new structure. Look closely to see the web; do you see it?

Unfortunately the new “Urban Greenhouse” was not in its permanent position. Mr. Fun wiggled it around, scooted it a few inches, and is trying to determine a way to level the structure on a sloping yard covered in artificial turf. So Mr. or maybe it was Mrs. Spider watched the web get torn and partially destroyed.

The new “Urban Greenhouse” is actually in the side yard that we designed and had constructed in summer of 2016 for the pups. So Chloe and Mitzi think that Mr. Fun is invading their backyard with this new structure.

We think the automatically opening roof is unique and a novelty. The spiders will appreciate the easy entry. I’m sure at moments they will scare the heck out of me. I don’t mind lizards, snakes are a little creepy, but spiders drive me crazy. So this will be fun.

Once the shelves are installed and the unit is leveled (if that is possible), and it is secured to the fence — then I think we can call this project completed.
