Pipits a plenty….

here this morning, the sun warm and the wind cool! The moor is glowing golden with Broom, so late in the season, but it looks lovely. The Croft house would be a lonely place to stay in past years, which is why most people were content to leave, even though it was not their choice. About lunchtime, there was a hail shower, but then the sun reappeared, together with a large flock of Starlings, most unusual!
