Short, sharp shower
The raindrops bounced loudly on the tops of the canvas sunshades and the wind shook the wooden supports to their core, illiciting impressive creaks and groans. The rain and its medley of sound lasted around ten minutes at around 6am before there were too many to bear witness. It was gone almost as quickly as it arrived, replaced by sun and the occasional cloud.

There are 3 wind turbines on top of the rocky vackdrop to our hotel and they spun throughout tge day with the temperature sticking between 28 and 36 degrees. I spent a great deal of time in the pool or in the sea with little progress made on reading.
We ate an Italian inspired dinner and, having been grateful not to be seated in close proximity to the pizza oven, i couldn't resist ordering a pizza. I've definitely had better but expecting a resort in Greece, catering for the masses, to excel in cuisines from so many inferential places would, I feel, be unrealistic.
