Swiftonomics

The white rose branch of the family (through marriage) arrived to stay. The trip from Yorkshire was fine and they arrived in Edinburgh for the first time in years, in some cases decades, to find the city heaving and sparkling.

I’ve not seen so much glitter, sequins, and few feathered hats before. Taylor Swift had hit town.

On the way in to pick them up we passed a local bar/eaterie which seems to have changed its name to tap into the frenzy.

We live some 4 miles from Murrayfield stadium and could hear some of the music being carried on the wind. For those of the family attending the concert on Saturday might, perhaps ear plugs are advisable. In the evening they did an online quiz and showed a remarkable, almost mastermind like, knowledge of the songs and lyrics.
