Common Blue
Today I made the most of some rather intermittent sunshine to go up to the butterfly reserve at Morn Hill. So here is a Common Blue on meadow vetchling (Lathyrus pratensis). But to qualify, meadow vetchling is what I think it is, but I was so taken up by blipping the butterfly I didn't look properly at the plant. As for the blue, I can only say, common it may be, but what a beauty!
This was the most fun bit of my day, but I've also been to the station to renew my railcard and buy tickets for Lymington tomorrow, I've gardened, and done the washing and.. well you get it! ;))
Hope your Saturday has been/is being a good one. And have a great tomorrow xx
