Rain stops play

The weather was not good to us today.  We took W's sister to Morston intending to do the walk to Blakeney and back, but once we started walking we spotted an ominously black cloud coming our way so headed back to the car.  It was the right decision; we very shortly got a torrential rain storm.  We thought we'd drive to Wells to get past it and we did, parking in the car park by the beach.  The only other time we had taken her to Wells we couldn't get parked anywhere so never even stopped the car, so we thought this was looking better.  However, we got as far as the beach and the heavens opened again so we headed back for a look around the new lifeboat station before setting off again.

By this afternoon the sun came out and she went off on her own for a walk into town for a look around while we prepare food for this evening.  Hopefully the weather will be better tomorrow as we have an outing planned for her.
