Old Town Hall

This old building in the heart of Carlisle has just had about £500,000 spent on it to make it structurally sound and water tight.

They totally replaced the roof and the project took about six months to complete. I am all for protecting our heritage so thought I'd mark the occasion with a pic. Apparently the official opening is next week but the Tourist Information Centre has already moved back into the building.
